Starfish Project for Children Teen Board

 


Our Board is made up of  teenage students exclusively from the various public and private high schools in our community. High school students serving on the Teen Board simultaneously experience service work and Board responsibilities.  

At the end of a board member's term, the teen will earn a place on the Starfish Project For Children Honor Roll.


Primary responsibilities:  

  • spread the word about the work of the Starfish Project for Children
  • help to conceive and plan a community service program targeted to elementary school children
  • select Monthly OOPS award winners

Requirements:

  • Board members are selected and asked to serve
  • Serve a term of 2 years
  • Attend 6 meetings per school year

Much of the work of the board will be accomplished at board meetings.
